United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties

Campaign Intel:

The United Way approached Adams Mabry Swann about designing a brand for their newly revamped fundraiser, Red White and Bayou. This fundraiser is one of their biggest of the year, and critical to the success of their non-profit organization. They wanted to rebrand the event to more of a low country boil, and change the date from the traditional July 4th timeline.

We collaborated on the style they were looking for, and the demographics they wanted to reach. They wanted a casual yet elegant presentation that would appeal to donors and business sponsors. We outlined a media strategy to place on-brand advertising in local print publications and lifestyle magazines, as well as their social media outlets.

Results:

Due to the promotional efforts of the United Way Staff, and the advertising expertise of Adams Mabry Swann, the Red White and Bayou campaign saw a 50% increase in tickets sold over the previous year. The branding and advertising work was the talk of the event, and resulted in a strong revenue uptick for the United Way.
