Want to get your business on the coveted first page of Google? It seems like a daunting task for many, but we have our formula for winning SEO rankings. Be warned, this is not an overnight process, and it will take some consistent effort on your part, but if you are looking to boost organic SEO conversions for your business website, read on.

1. Strategy and Research

Before you can get to the top of the SEO mountain and rank on the first page of Google, you will need to research keywords and phrases your target audience is searching. While not impossible to rank on the most competitive keywords, it will take time and a concerted effort to get there. You will also want to know your competition and how you rank against them. Do you have a mobile friendly site that ranks better on mobile search? Does your competition? Check out the landscape and see where your website ranks.

2. Website Content and Citations

Once you have identified your keywords and phrases, make sure you have used them in the important sections of your website. You may have to brush up on some HTML and explore your website admin area to do this, but building a solid base of keyword rich copy is critical. In the end, content will reign supreme. Citations are mentions of your website on other websites and generally include the business name, address, phone number and website address. Citations are vital in the SEO process.

3. Time

With the right strategy, content and due diligence, you can build a great SEO rank across search engines, but it will take a little time. This is not an overnight process, and generally takes months to start making traction. Don’t give up and make sure you are consistently following your plan, and you can begin to rank on the first page of search engines. But the work doesn’t stop there as maintenance is key.
