Today, I took my 3 year old daughter, Aubrey, to the store. In the parking lot, she yelled out The Zoo, The Zoo! Naturally, I was confused as to why she would all of the sudden start talking about the zoo, but then I saw a sticker on the back of a car window for the Nashville Zoo. Aubrey has been there twice in her young life, and I was shocked that she would remember a simple yellow and black logo with an outline of a giraffe.
It got me thinking. How recognizable is the brand of most companies that we see everyday? The key to good branding is to design simple and repeatable brand statements that are consistent with the product and values you promote. It takes a little while to ingrain your brand on the conscience level of your customers, but with the right planning, exposure, and consistency, your brand can be recognized and take hold in the minds of your consumers.
At Adams Mabry Swann, we strive to get to the core of your value, strategically identify your customer base, design memorable graphics, and place those images in the media your customers consume. Thoughtful design, and a good plan of exposure will allow your brand to stand out.
